At CoEnterprise, our development team never stops innovating. Since the day we released of our flagship software Syncrofy, they have been constantly tweaking and improving the solution based on customer feedback. Last year, they completely overhauled the Dashboards feature to provide you with more power, flexibility, and customization. Now, we’re looking to harness that power to provide you with more value right out of the gate.
We know it can be fun to create the perfect dashboard from scratch based on the business question you’re trying to answer. However, we also realize that sometimes you want a head start.
That’s where pre-canned dashboards come in. Our new pre-canned dashboards allow you to utilize standardized templates upon which you can build customizable and dynamic views of your data.
There are a few ways you can utilize pre-canned dashboards, the first being the “set it and forget it” approach. You can select the pre-canned dashboard you want in Syncrofy and BOOM—your dashboard is instantaneously built for you with your own data.
Simply click the Create New Dashboard icon. Then, select the dashboard template you wish to use by clicking the Import button on the right-hand side. It’s as simple as that!
The other way to get the most out of pre-canned dashboards is to use it as a starting point for building your own dashboard. Think of it as “food for thought” to get your imagination running. Maybe you didn’t realize you could create a dashboard based on all your exceptions or the inbound files you’re receiving.
You may want to choose the “Receivable (Outbound) and Payable (Inbound) Invoice Status Report” pre-canned dashboard and send it off to your AR team so they can glean value from it. The choice is yours! Simply use a template we’ve created for you or use it as a way to get the ball rolling towards the business goal you wish to accomplish.
The best part is that all of our pre-canned dashboards are designed to solve a specific business problem, and in fact many have been sourced based on our interactions with customers. We also created our own internal “Syncrofy Challenge,” a monthly deep dive into potential use cases and dashboard concepts.
This light-hearted competition allows our entire team to get their hands dirty with Syncrofy and create dashboards to solve the assigned business problem for that month. The winning team always walks away with a cool prize, and (more importantly) our customers gain access to a new pre-canned dashboard). It’s just another way we’re constantly searching for the most innovative ways to support our customers.
